Jonathan Townsend\, PhD will speak about the relationship that bats have with plants locally and globally. Bats provide key services for plants like: \npollination\nseed dispersal\nnutrient cycling\ncontrol of insect pests \nThe program will also feature a live demonstration of bat survey equipment using an ultrasonic microphone (approx. 9:15–9:30 PM)\, so come prepared for a night walk if you want to take part! \n🌟 Free event!
