Union, Olean, NY 14760 716-372-2985.\u00a0 Many local restaurants provide catering for special events, like outdoor weddings at our Lillibridge Property. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">And speaking of weddings&#8230;. <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cayascanopies.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Caya&#8217;s Canopies<\/span><\/a><\/span> provides tents, china, and other do-dads for those special events at Lillibridge! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Cool spots to visit&#8230;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rockcitypark.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Rock City Park<\/span><\/a><\/span>, what a place to climb gigantic boulders and take in a spectacular view of the area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cutco.com\/home.jsp\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Cutco Cutlery<\/span><\/a><\/span> &amp; <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zippo.com\/index.aspx?bhcp=1\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Zippo<\/span><\/a><\/span> are two internationally known manufacturers in the area.\u00a0 Both have visitor centers with intriguing displays and goodies for purchase.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.portvillehistory.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Portville Historical Society<\/span><\/a><\/span> and the <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eldredwwiimuseum.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Eldred World War II Museum<\/span><\/a><\/span> provide great glimpses into the past.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve always found them staffed with knowledgeable friendly volunteers.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Great places to hike&#8230;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Our area has an abundance of public forests.\u00a0 The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation has many locations in Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties to explore the diverse ecological systems of a post glacial landscape. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Some of our favorite outdoor sites in Allegany County include the <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.org\/ourinitiatives\/regions\/northamerica\/unitedstates\/newyork\/placesweprotect\/centralwesternnewyork\/wherewework\/central-moss-lake.xml\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Nature Conservancy&#8217;s Moss Lake<\/span><\/a><\/span>, an awesome spot to see a glacial kettle lake.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dec.ny.gov\/outdoor\/8297.html\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Hanging Bog<\/span><\/a><\/span> in Black Creek is a quiet place to paddle and walk.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In Cattaraugus County we like to visit the forests managed by <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dec.ny.gov\/outdoor\/7786.html\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">NYS Department of Environmental Conservation State Forests<\/span><\/a> <\/span>&#8211; Rock City State Forest (home of Little Rock City), McCarthy Hill State Forest, Golden Hill State Forest, and of course&#8230; the beautiful Zoar Valley River Gorge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Other unique sites in Cattaraugus include the Buffalo <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buffaloaudubon.org\/allenbergbog.php\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Audubon&#8217;s Allenburg Bog Preserve<\/span><\/a><\/span> and its neighbor<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zaepfel.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\"> Zaepfel Nature Center<\/span>.<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Right in our backyard we have <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nysparks.state.ny.us\/parks\/73\/details.aspx\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Allegany State Park<\/span><\/a><\/span>, with miles of forest and water ways to explore. The <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.northcountrytrail.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">North Country National Scenic Trail<\/span><\/a><\/span>, and our local subpart, the <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fingerlakestrail.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Finger Lakes Trail Conference<\/span><\/a><\/span> , provide well marked trails that cross through Cattaraugus and Allegany counties. \u00a0 To the south, in McKean County, PA,\u00a0 is the amazing <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fs.fed.us\/r9\/forests\/allegheny\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Allegheny National Forest<\/span><\/a><\/span>, and the <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kinzuamarina.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Kinzua area<\/span><\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 The <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pawilds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">PA Wilds<\/span><\/a><\/span> website will open the doors to the endless possibilities to explore in our neighboring state.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We love to hike the trails surrounding Bradford, PA.\u00a0 Check out the giant trees around the Marilla Reservoir and associated trails in the <span style=\"color: #096377;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tunavalleytrail.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Tuna Valley Trail System<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fogvg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"color: #096377;\">Genesee Valley Greenway Trail<\/span> <\/span><\/a>is also fun to hike.\u00a0 At 84 miles long, most people choose to do a section at a time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Nature people we like to hike with and nature places we like to visit&#8230;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4b4225;\">Are you looking for a group to cross country ski, snowshoe, or hike with?
