Join local mycologist Garrett Taylor for a guided walk along the trails of Pfeiffer Nature Center as we search for fungi and learn more about the fascinating mushrooms growing around us.<\/p>\n
During the walk, Garrett will help participants learn what to look for when exploring for fungi on their own. Participants will also be introduced to iNaturalist, a free app that makes it easy to photograph, identify, and document the plants, fungi, animals, and other organisms they encounter in nature.<\/p>\n
Whether you’re interested in mushrooms, nature observation, or simply want to learn a new way to explore the outdoors, this program offers a great opportunity to build your identification and observation skills.<\/p>\n
