Pie at the Pavilion Photo Exhibit

Though our photo contest submissions are now closed, it’s not too late to join in on the fun! From now until September 12^th, we will accept digital photo submissions to display at our “Pie in the Pavilion & Photography Exhibit”! There is no fee to enter as these photos will not be judged nor awarded prizes.  Simply submit any photo that you have taken on a Pfeiffer Nature Center property, and we will print and display it at our event! For full submission information, please read below! We hope you will join us for a delicious treat both for the eyes as well as for the pie plate!

Rules for photo submission

• DEADLINE: September 12, 2019
• All photographs must be taken at one of the Pfeiffer Nature Center properties (Lillibridge or Eshelman) by the submitter. Photographs taken elsewhere or submitted on behalf of another person are not eligible.
• Photographs may be taken with any equipment and at any skill level. Cell phone snapshots are equally as welcome as photos taken with high-end equipment.
• If there are any recognizable people in submitted photographs, you must have their express permission to share and publish (in this case, this means print and hang at our show) their likeness.
• Photos are requested in a digital format so that we may print them and hang them for you. If you already have your photo printed in a standard size and would prefer we use it, please contact us for arrangements.
• Photos must be at a size and resolution that they can be reasonably printed; if photos are too small or poor digital quality, they might not be included.
• Please submit no more than 5 photo(s) per person.
• Selection of photos to be hung will be determined by Pfeiffer Nature Center staff, based on number of participants and volume of entries. We will notify you if any of your photos are selected, but hope to be able to display at least one submission per person!
• Photos that are in-focus, not too under or over exposed, and clearly show the subject matter (be it landscape, cabin, leaf, mushroom, salamander, etc) have a higher probability to be selected and displayed.
• As all digital photography and printing equipment varies, Pfeiffer Nature Center is not responsible for the end quality of the printed displayed image (though we will do our best!).
• After filling out the below form, please email your digital photo files (.jpg preferred) to: pfeiffernature@gmail.com
