Join local mycologist Garrett Taylor for a guided walk along the trails of Pfeiffer Nature Center as we search for fungi and learn more about the fascinating mushrooms growing around us.

During the walk, Garrett will help participants learn what to look for when exploring for fungi on their own. Participants will also be introduced to iNaturalist, a free app that makes it easy to photograph, identify, and document the plants, fungi, animals, and other organisms they encounter in nature.

Whether you’re interested in mushrooms, nature observation, or simply want to learn a new way to explore the outdoors, this program offers a great opportunity to build your identification and observation skills.
